Just wanted to pass this info on to anyone that is looking for a T&E unit for your Browning 1919a4 M2 tripod, at a good price. There is a seller on eBay that had a bunch of them to sell and is down to only 4 left. He is located in Bulgaria so there is no export issues. I ended receiving the one I bought today and it was complete and working. Mine just needs abit of a degreasing and maybe to be reparked in the future. Shipping was pretty quick also.

Yeah for that price I had considered getting two myself but I only have one tripod and I like the MG42 AA tripod better since I can stand behind it. Just wanted to complete my M2 tripod and now it is. :)

Post a picture when you get yours. Just curious which version elevation wheel you will get. I will post a picture of mine in abit once the camera finishes charging.


I purchased mine on the 21st and received it today, to give you an idea on how long it took to arrive. That is faster shipping then I get from the US. :)

Sometimes I think it has alot to do with how the sender describes the contents of the package as to whether or not customs opens it up. If it's marked as gun part or scope or something to that affect then there is a much greater chance. A part for a tripod or even a complete tripod, I don't think they will stop.

How about other parts for the 1919? I am in need of a belt pawl bracket, a bottom plate and a trunnion or are they parts that are not allowed to be owned in Europe?

I did see a seller on eBay from the Netherlands with T&E's but I found his prices abit high on his items.

I actually bought some items from that seller recently. It's abit hard to get a hold of him but he does finally get around to responding to questions. Some not bad prices for NOS 1919 items. Just have to see how long stuff takes to get here. Hopefully as quickly as the T&Es came from the eBay seller in Greece. Who by the way had some more T&Es listed. The second one I received was nicer then the first.
