EDGE Mountain Rifle stock, VXIII 2.5-8, talley rings, gre-tan pin & shroud, 6lbs 3 oz as seen...

That's a great lookin' little package Blargon. Never had one of those McMillan stocks before... I have heard nothing but great things about them and I foresee one in my near future.:D;)

Looks great. Thanks for the picture. I've been considering grey on stainless for a quickly approaching project.

Actually a really nice tone of grey, darker than I thought it would be...

Nice Mickey. How long did you have to wait for it? I'm hoping I get the call any day now from Terah.

Ordered Oct. 14/09 - 17 weeks to the day...

Here's to the future!

That is the perfect combination I would like to get for my son, 7-08 can't be beat for an all round cal. in the Model seven for a young shooter in my opinion. In fact if they would make one in L/H I would get one myself.

Nice! It would go well out here on Vancovuer Island with all the rain, mud, brush, and short to 300 meter shots on the critters we have out here.

that is a stellar all-round package.
...very classy and well thought out!

How does it shoot Brad?

Have only shot it with the old stock, 120gr BT's are looking promising for deer/coyotes though...:D

Is the seven the same action ( abit short) as the 700 with a shorter stock and barrel?

Based on the rem 700. Basically the front half of the action, lug and barrel are the same. The rear bridge and the bolt are shorter, and the bolt shroud is different as well. The factory stock is has the same LOP as a short action 700, but the forend is slightly shorter to fit the 20" barrel better, and the pad is a hockey puck, only thinner and harder...:D

alot nicer than when I had it!!!! good job looks great

Well, it ain't no Ti, but it'll do...:D

Who did you order the stock through ? I have the same setup (ss Model 7, Gre-tan, Talleys, 2.5-8) in .260. That stock really suits the rifle nicely.
