For those with Nordic Components AR22 for 10/22...

Quick question.

Do you folks know if the tactical 10/22s with the rail on top fit inside the Nordic Components AR22 kit? Or do I need a standard 10/22 receiver?

The rail on top is removable on the 10/22. My ATI AR-22 stock that I put on mine needed a flat top to fit inside the clam shell I assume the same is true for the nordic.

You definitely will need to remove the rail. The top part of the Nordic screws into the 10/22 reciver using the same 4 'rail' screws.

Ah ok...thought the rail and receiver were one piece. Good to know.

Oh, there may be custom receivers where the rail is machined from the same block.
