thank you ben
the M28
it is a model barrel SIG 1927, given its serial number, it belongs to the second series, he got out between November 1928 and June 1929
(the first two sets of guns used the entire agreement barrel of the Swiss company SIG.)
The M28 is one of the rare Finnish rifles on the collectors market in North America and one of the favorites of the 1939-1945 war Finnish rifles authors.
This shortage is due in fact to the low production originally produced and wear resulting from use in 3 wars and countless training sessions as part of the postwar period.
These rifles have no apparent benefit from rehabilitation programs than most other Finnish rifles have suffered.
The total production of M28 being 33.016, is by far the smallest of all weapons of Finnish service from 1927 to 1945.
Finnish defense forces an inventory list in 1951 only 16 600 M28 in storage.
Finnish Defence Force officially declared obsolete rifle in mid-1980 and put on the collector market in the United States in 1986.
Today, they are a piece of highly collectible both here and in the States around the world
