Mine is a 24B in 30-06, bought from Prophet River (site sponsor ) last fall when they started bringing them in.
To answer your question.... I like it but I'm sure its not for everybody as its very plain, strictly a working rifle.
It has a blind magazine which I prefer as I don't like magazines or floor plates.
The stock is bedded the full length which seems to work well and it is very consistent to shoot.
I don't mind the recoil at all because I shoot a lot of bigger rifles, but those that have tried it compare recoil to that of a 300 mag.
After all what can one expect from a 6 lb. 30-06 ?
It also has one of the smoothest triggers I have ever used on an out of the box rifle.
Three shot groups were nothing to brag about until I put about 100 rounds through it and then suddenly it started grouping around the magic inch and under, this I am told is because the barrels used take a bit longer to shoot in and my experience with that same barrel manufacturer confirms that..
