The intraweb tells us that early Forbes rifles were pretty good. Early being 2011ish to 2013ish. After that time reportedly the quality went down hill big time.
I picked up this 2013 dated rifle a few months back and was pleasantly surprised at how well it shot for being a "pretend' NULA.
Weighs right at 6-3/4 lbs with a 3.5-10 in Talley LW's. Might have to hang on to this one...LOL
Any one else have one of these wannabe NULA rifles?

Mine Had a 2 digit serial number but went to Mitch too lol. I didn’t like the metal finish and bolt was super gritty. Shot superbly. I’m sure Mitch made it awesome.

I have a Forbes 20B in 243, well made, good stock, decent trigger, shoots well and very light. I switched to a shotgun only deer zone so never had a chance to really hunt with it. Worked up a load for it and now it just sits in the safe. It’s 6lb3oz with a VXIII 3.5-10x40 in talleys
