I picked up a parcel at the local CP counter. It was addressed from Discotech, and contained somthing along the lines of a 15" Grizz.


The lady at the counter remarks, "Ooh, heavy. There must be more than just one club in this one!"

"Yup, there better be," I respond.

"Lots of people getting clubs off-island," she notes.

"Sure. Lots of good deals available online."

"Sun's coming out, you might get to try them out this afternoon," she suggests.

"You know, I just might do that. Have a nice day."

"Have fun with your new toys!" the nice lady says.



Thanks CanAm, for the new Grizz and the "brown bag" packaging. Well played.
 
how much time did it took? I'm on Day 10, no transfert started, visa not taken, suposed in stock, told me they were way behind.

On the other hand, bought a pistol from P&D, took 1day for Shipping/Transfert/Payment. THAT'S customer service!
 
The samething happen to me when I picked up my 1903 A4. Lady asked me if I got good deal on the golf clubs? "Sure did!" was my reply as I headed for the door...
 
Similar experience at my PO, only I told them it was a hunting rifle, not the clubs. We do need to de-sensitize general population so they are not in fear of firearms and firearms' owners.

I had great service from Can Am... ordered online July 14th, arrived July 25th. It was mailed on Thursday it arrived on Friday, I was just leaving to go to the range when the mail lady drove up with my grizzly golf club..:)
 
BerniePEI, I didn't see you out at the club yesterday evening for a round of 12 gauge golf with your new driver. So sad - new clubs need exercise.

I've got yo get off my butt and order one of these new clubs.

i dont think its because people are scared of guns, i think its more so that someone processing it isnt going to know its a gun. im sure there are post office workers that would go "oh this one is labled gun... i think i might lose it" and it finds its way into the wrong hands
