Forearm question

I'm looking for some recommendations on a free floating forearm. I've never bought or built an AR before but I'm going to purchase a 14.5" upper and would like to put a free floating forearm on it. I like the LMT MRP but Daddy doesn't have that kind of cash kicking around. What is a good middle of the road forearm to buy? I'm going to buy this upper and would like a folding front sight and the upper to end about 1"-2" behind the threads for the flash hider. Thanks in advance.

There are a couple KAC RAS's in the EE for good prices while not free float they do give the option to attach lights and give you cool guys status.

KAC RAS II is free-floating. I have one coming next week, I'll let you know how it is. Not too expensive anyhow...

Daniel Defense makes some amazing rails, and though a little pricey I would say for what you get they are underpriced.

The DD Omega is amazing. Super easy to install, no permanent modifications and free float. Not to mention its the lightest FF available(currently). In fact, I know someone who is looking to move theirs. PM me if you're interested. Anyone that is.

Midwest Industries also make some free floating railed forends you might want to look at, IIRC you only need to cut off the Delta ring to install yourself.
