Forgot to lubricate new cases-is this bad?

I just loaded a bunch of new brass rounds of 300 wby mag and noticed that I forgot to lube a few of them.
This is brand new Nosler brass so I didn't have to trim it etc..so I'm just wondering if this is going to have a negative affect on anything?

I didn't notice any problem with the bullet being pressed in. Everything seemed to go as normal. Case didn't hang up in the press and the bullet seated fine.

It goes without saying that you lube the outside of the case for resizing purposes, and not the inside of the case for seating.

Now I feel stupid. And I thought I followed the loading book very well.. I was interpreting it that it was lubing the case as it was going up the press and that a bit of lube in the neck of the case would allow the bullet to seat in well without binding up.
Goes to show how easy mistakes can happen. Crap!

I shot a bunch of rounds I loaded a few days ago and they shot very well and I had a little bit of lube in the neck case on those before I seated those bullets. Now I'm thinking I may have been fortunate that the lube didn't add any extra pressure to those rounds when they were fired.

Glad I only loaded a few tonight like that then.

Guess I get to use the bullet extractor I bought now

God knows I made my share of boo-boos when I was starting out,everybody does.Every now and then I still do,we are all only human.As mentioned don't ever be afraid to post and ask questions if you aren't sure of something.Welcome to the club!
