Former license

So I'm helping my father with his PAL application, now he had an fac a bunch of years ago but let it expire, now on the application it asks if he has ever had a firearms license before and for the number. We can't seem to find his old license or anything with the number on it, is there anywhere we can look/people we can contact to find this? Do they even require it in the case of an expired FAC?

I just ticked "I have an expired firearms licence" and wrote in "FAC - unknown number."

Make sure he ticks something in 2a because they consider you licenced for some reason if you tick 'expired firearms licence'
