The one on the left is made from a 30-30 case, the other is an S&B factory brass.

No more waiting months or even years trying to find ammo. Get that old Model 99 shooting again!

I’ve been forming 25-35 from 30-30 and 7-30 waters from 375 Win. for a while now. When I first started with 25-35 I had a heck of a time with it until I remembered that 25-35 actually predated 30-30 by a little bit, as it was essentially a necked down 32-40… ta da: first pass of 30-30 through a 32-40 die to get the basic body taper, then the 25-35 die and it was a breeze…
I do like to anneal after forming to get the necks back to factory like hardness (softness).
