Forming 6.5-06 Brass from 30-06 Brass Question

I am forming 6.5 - 06 brass from 270 Nosler & 30-06 Nosler brass and it is working great but it is time to buy new brass, I really like Lapua brass and can get it in 30-06 cases.Just wondering if anyone has had any issues forming the Lapua brass down.

Use lots of lube and remove your sizing ball. New brass isn't a problem at all. Especially Lapua which is very soft.

I did it with Winchester brass in a single pass and had no issues for many re-loads.

The only issue I can anticipate using 30-06 brass is neck thickness - check for a loaded clearance of at least 2 thou. If your chamber neck is "generous", using 30-06 brass might actually be a better choice than the typical 25-06 or 270.
