Forming 6.5x47 lapua brass

Take 22/250 brass. Run it into your 6.5X47 die set to proper head space ( bottom die out on shell holder) Take the brass so formed and open the neck first with a 6mm expander mandrel then with a 6.5 expander mandrel. Use lots of case lube on mandrels. Run these through your 6.5X47 sizing die again. Trim necks to length and chamfer mouths. Fire form. Your cases will have large primers, which some say are better than the small primered Lapua brass

Prophet river has it in stock, placed an order. Placed an order from wss this morning as well for some 22-250 and will test large primers. Should be fun.
