The other evening, I sat down to resize some 308 brass. For this, I use a Forster Benchrest die on a CoAx press. I really like their stuff and I've never had a problem in the past. On the VERY FIRST piece of brass, I hear a crunch and was pissed, thinking that I just broke a decapping pin. Not only did the pin break, but the collet that holds the pin in snapped off, the spindle is bent and I can't get the expander ball off due to the bend!

My question is this:

Does anybody have any experience dealing with Forster for warranty stuff? I know RCBS is pretty much no-questions-asked, but I have never heard anything about Forster.

Thanks!

It souunds like some spent 45 pieces of brass I found in our outdoor range. I was about to use it in reloading & felt something was about to break. Took it out to the garage & with different tools, hammer & all I would not remove said spent piece of primer.

True it is waterproofed, but never had trouble before with DND 9mm brass though the brass is to brittle for my liking, plus it is not the normal primer we use in North America OR else it has been ---darn it missing a word for you will have to come up with the word--to make it less likely to work loose in a machine-gun.
