This coming August the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team will be at Fort Henry in Kingston, Ontario.

They will be there the last weekend of August. So if you love the Garand rifle, you have to attend. It's going to be great.
 
I visited Ft. Henry when I was a kid, loved it. Wish I could be there for the Marines.
 
I love the Garand AND the Marine drill team. They're absolutely awesome. But the Fort Henry Guard is equally awesome as well, they will perform in the same Tattoo event. If you like military pomp and circumstance, this is event is highly recommended.

Snider Enfields for the FHG and M1 Garands for the US Marines. The Fort Henry Guard consists mostly of university/college summer students, no professional soldiers here. Enjoy!

Should be a great show. I had the honor of participating in a ceremony there in June 2000 on our way back from a week at Ft Drum.
