i thinking of maybe at some point moving there and was wondering if any of you CGN people live there! i was also wondering on the game there and their number? deer, elk, wolf,rabbit as much as you could tell me, thanks a bunch

What ever you do be careful on that highway.

I'd say its the most dangerous in Alberta.

I have lived inn Fort McMurray for 25 years and in my opinion deer numbers are poor to fair,moose-poor to fair,black bear-very good,wolves-good.There is no elk hunting near Fort Mcmurray.Hunting pressure is very high.

I drive that highway all the time, and it's no more dangerous than any other. Stats show it to be the safest major highway in Alberta.
Game, lots of bears, no idea about rabbits, fair deer numbers compared to south two hours, same about moose. There is a fair bit of hunting pressure here, as there is a large population covering a limited access area.
For the record
I enjoy living in Fort McMurray, so does my wife and so do my kids.

....................the only varmint hunting would be coyotes and wolves. There is decent numbers of both species.
