Found 3 deer in a ditch- vermillion county

For people in the Lloydminster vermillion area

During a cruise around for coyotes the other day me and the wifey went found 3-4 deer in the ditch at RR50 and hwy 16 west. They were just dumped right in the culvert at the train tracks. Couldn't see any meat taken from them or if racks were taken off. Not sure what the deal was but just a heads up if anyone sees this stuff goin on.

actually I came across the same thing close to my house and It turns out the ministry hires a trapper in this case to pick up road kills and place them in out of sight areas.

Were they shot? Or perhaps they were hit by the train or a vehicle?

That wasn't 3-4 deer... it was 3 deer and the bumper off a 78' woody station wagon...

Here they leave them where they fall and let the yotes look after them. During large population years it can get pretty stinky in the spring. I'd be happy if the RCMP would clear dead vehicles from the side of the road (too chewy for yotes).
