Well, after tried few glass, i decided to remove my NF 2.5-10x32 from my RFB, there is NOTHING WRONG with this scope, i love it, it will be used on my .223 bolt gun, i just didn't liked the LOOK of a scope with a bell in front on THIS particular rifle, i found the ACOG to be nice, but, wanted something that i can play with the power( will hunt with the rifle), then, i give Peter, at Hirsh Precision a call and, i end up with a 1-7x24 SIII Sightron
NOW, i like the look, i really like the glass, i tough i shoud share as this glass would be PERFECT on 3 gun match, i can see it on AR, SWISS, Robinson, Tavor and so...
As usual, Peter at Hirsh give me a freaking hot smoking service
So here is the pic

That is exactly the scope I wanted to get but the budget for this hunting season I just got a Millet DMS-1 (1-4x42). I am jealous I will still get the sightron 1-7 but I just have to wait a bit longer. Really interested to hear what you think of it with some more use.

I love the brake too, I have been looking for something like that for a while. I wish that ATRS would make and eliminator that would bolt on like this.

! I like it a lot.
how is the reticle?
It's german #4 style with a circle on the vertical post, is it not?

and...if you don't mind me asking.... $?

Yes, detail of the scope as there is NO REVIEW anywhere, so i called Peter and take the plunge...
For the reticle, you are RIGHT, it's something like the #4, for MY USE it is OK
it's my bush rifle, must say i really like it, will use it for hunt anyway.

The dot will hide the 1"x1" square on the target at 200y, but nothing you CAN'T live without, anyway, it's NOT a sniper gun so, shooting a dime with it at 200y will never work with ANY SCOPE.
At 100y, it is OK i was able to have almost always 1moa with my 175gr federal match, (need to try superformance now) you can shoot good group even with this #4 reticle at 100y.

What impress me the MOST is the GLASS, i was REALLY affraid to buy a 7x with 24mm bell but man, it is clear, color are very good, image is sharp, nothing wrong, only good.
only at 1x (roughly up to 1.5-1.7 but nothing to say exactly) there is distorsion on the side ONLY(peter told me about it) but the REAL 1X is very cool tu use, you can aim 5 feet or 200y and, there is no parallax, view is still clear but you can shoot both eye open, just like a regular dot.
During day time (even cloudy) , at full power ( 7X ) the image are still very bright, when the sun come down, you have to lower the power to keep it clear, but, again, nothing wrong there, it's scope, not a NV device.
To help in dark situation, there is that cool center dot that you can adjust brightess in red or green, don't know if i will ever use it but, it work FINE

All in all, i'am impress with the scope, it is NOT a small scope, it seem built like a tank, heavy, thick, really like it... i think the price ( 950$) is FAIR for what i have, nothing more, nothing less.
