One in a million.

I bought a lot of four bolts to get one particular bolt, and was left with three I didn't need. On a lark, I googled "Lee Enfield bolt" plus its serial number and to my amazement I found a Gunboards posting of a Lee Enfield survey with a Savage No4 MkI with mismatched bolt - and the serial number matched. I contacted the guy (just outside of New Orleans), sent a pic and we cut a deal. I sold it for market price.

:D

Thats awesome. I always wondered how often things like this happen.

I have an SVT-40 mag numered nr 3301 anyone got the SVT? :D

start your own CGN forum for matching up firearms...... everyone list your number and start shipping and doing transactions lol.......... but back to the original topic.... thats one stroke of luck!!!!!

Nice one Andy.
I recently had something similar...I made a deal for a transit chest and the card on the end of it matched the s/n of a Long Branch sniper of my acquaintance...I was able to get the card with the right rifle for the price of a stamp. The owner was pretty happy.
