Who can supply S&W parts in Canada or the US?

I was checking out my S&W 659 the other day and the screw is missing on the Ambidextrous safety.

Its located on the right side of the slide.

It wasn't in the box and I didn't look closely to see if it was there when I bought it.

It can be blued or stainless or reproduced by a gunsmith. I will probably end up keeping it as its a nice gun.

The 59 my friend shoots doesn't have an ambidextrous safety so I can't have it copied.

The previous owner said it went missing over the years. That's why it hasn't had many rounds through it.

Have the threads checked, it may just be a common thread which means you could get the screw at home depot. Guns are notorious for have odd sized screw often extra or extra extra fine. Brownells sells all kinds of screws for gunsmithithing. It may be difficult to get an oem screw, but one that fits would get you going. As a side note, I would be bummed at who you bought it off for not telling you at time of purchase. Edit: you can often find schematics on line which would give you the actual part no., or contact S&W directly, they may be able to help you

S&W and Midway USA won't ship to Canada so don't even waste your time calling. Give Murray Charleton Enterprises a call. They might have one or can order one for you. But be prepared to wait about a year for it if you do order it.

Mine fell out of my 645 at one point, had to order a replacement from Numrich.
Put a dab of locktight on it....good prevention.
