Found some 9mm ammo.

I came across ten packages of 9mm ammo in cardboard boxes stamped with the following information

A360
64 cartridges
9mm ball CDN MK1
Lot - 213 - IVI - 71

Any idea what it's worth?

It seems to me a collector may see more value to this ammo than cheap 9mm. Anyone else able to weigh in?

70's era 9mm military ball ammo. Worth the same as present day commercial ammo, IMHO.

Yup. Pretty much worth the same as commercial ammo.....right now.

Hang onto it for another 65 years, and you might have something worth something.

that's sten ammo... Probably has primers that are harder then my brother in laws ex wives..

The sten used a 32 round mag so you could load two mags with a box, however the sten was phased out around 1958 and replaced by the
Sterling C1 SMG which used a 30 round mag. IVI kept the same packaging of 64 rounds for many years after. Now it packed 50 rounds per box much
like standard ammo bought in a store.

This stuff is NATO standard, 9mm para bellum that may produce chamber pressures too high for some older pistols. I once saw a luger blown apart by these cartridges.
