If it's unopened and had decent storage it will likely be fine, this powder has excellent storage properties. A couple of generations ago it was THE powder to get maximum performance from the 38 Special. Even today there is no better powder for 10 gauge 2 7/8 inch loads for grandpa's goose gun.

Fairly new at reloading and was mildly stoked to discover the easygoing nature of ''Trail Boss'' but I can't imagine feeling ''Unicorn'' about powder.

SR4756 is my 12 ga slug powder it woks excellent. I found a 1 lb can last spring for $ 20 and you couldn't have wiped the smile off my face. So I can guess what a 5 lb can would be like. Only one I found in two years of looking. Nice find.

I've got about 3/4 of a pound or a bit more. I used it for 20 ga hunting loads, all 50 of them.. lol.
If you want some more, SS, let me know. I'd part ways with what I have left.
