Found WWII pics of my dad with his 'jungle carbine'

One of my most prized posesions is the "official" Portrait of my Grandfather in uniform. We also have a reginmental photo as well. It is a painted portiat, basically a Black and White photo but his eyes have been painted the correct colour.

I can still see them hanging in the dining room in the house when he was still with us. Almost all of the family have copies of these photo's and his youngest daughter has the orginals hanging in her living room with the other familiy photo's.
 
My Grandfather was a wartime photographer for the RCAF i have so many pictures its amazing. I will try and scan some and post them he was a great man who along with other great men did this country proud and we owe all veterans and todays soldiers the most gratitude we can give they are what make this country great!
