Four old webleys

Interesting stickied thread over at gunboards.com, in the Lee Enfield - 22 Caliber Forum & English Gun Pub - British Gun Pub sub forum.
It is a warning about cosmetically challenged Webleys which were refinished and then fraudulently resold as factory refinished.
Gunboards is a US forum but these guns are in Canada. If you know anyone who may have bought these guns from a seller in Western Canada, you may want to let them know.

He picks up four rusty Webleys for $1200, then after replacing some parts and a bit of cleaning and cold bluing, he sells three of them for over $1000 each......after telling the buyers that Webley refinished them.

Then he brags about it on Gunboards.:rolleyes:

Needless to say, they gave him the bum's rush.

using google it looks like this guy may be from sask .........

he also likes to build sten rifles ....it apears to be more than a few ...............

i wonder if he has all his paper work in order ?

if you poke around on gunboards.com there is a pic of him from the side holding a sten

ahh, good ole spencer. never amazes me. What does though, is how anyone would ever deal with that slimy puke.
