Hmmmmmmm, no semi's for me in the cold Canadian Winter. Bolt action only. Now which one to bring....? Anyone remember the guy with the SVT-40 last Winter? It became a single shot because of the cold . Here's to hoping for mild weather!

Is that ammo corrosive? I have a M44 carbine & an M38 but I don't shoot corrosive ammo through them. If it's non-corrosive you would be welcome to use either one.

Sure Diemaco, I'll bring a spare M38 or M44, I'll likely be shooting the same ammo through a 1891 so why not put more water on the stove and clean two Mosins once back home.

I'm pretty sure its corrosive. Its the stuff Marstar just got in. I'm slowly working on building up a stockpile of ammo, thats why I bought ammo I don't have a gun for. Eventually I'll buy a M38, maybe a SVT. I'd be more than happy to supply a few rounds for the use of a rifle.
