You should just refinish the original stock - strip it - iron out the dents and re-oil it. I looked for replacement stocks and came up with nothing better than I already had. Between here and YouTube there is a lot of info to show you how to refinish a stock without loosing value.
 
I used a Spanish 43 stock from Numrich. First one bent like a banana,second still bent but at the front tip. You have to cut it down and inlet for the front metal stock cap and put on the nut that holds the cap on. Then use your original handguard. Did mine to put a recoil pad on it and not bubba the original. Keep your eyes open. I picked up a stock from Ellwood Epps awhile back and one off the EE that had the recoil pad mounted but needed to finished. Still not finished with them as there is so many more projects ahead
 
Those use small-ring action, being a pre 98 action, most people would advise against using commercial 308 in them. That being said, they are rarer.

Judging by what Tradex sells, the Swedes felt the M96 action was strong enough for .30-06.

Of course not all actions were created equal.
