Franchi 48 AL

I am trying to locate two parts for a circa 1965 Franchi 48 AL

Locking Block Lever 12
Part #3141640040 or Part Key #161, Product #61430B

Locking Block Lever Spring 12
Part #3141690090 or Part Key #156, Product #61280B

I have had absolutely no success finding these parts so any help on where I could order these from would be appreciated. Would I be better off just parting this gun out? Comments appreciated.

I have tried Numrich and Bob's Gun Shop in the US, but both are sold out.

Thanks Sunray. I seem to recall reading that Franchi was no longer selling parts for the older 48 AL's, but I have nothing to lose by sending them an email. Thanks for the advice.

Jackfirstgun does not have any parts for the 48 AL. Numrich said parts for this gun are no longer made or available as of the spring of 2013. The search continues.

try T.E.C. TradeEx, They imported some of these a few years ago and Anthony sent me some small bits one time.

I thought I would post a summary of my Franchi 48AL parts hunt that might help others down the line. First off, a big thank you to a fellow CGN member, smoji, who contacted me and sold me the locking block lever I was searching for. Below is a list of the various places I tried:

Numrich - some parts available as per their website
Bob's Gun Shop - (gun-parts.com) - have some parts but the website is not accurate
Jack First Gun Parts - no stock
Franchi USA (Benelli) - no stock
T.E.C. TradeEx - no stock
LEMIEUX ARMURIERS - no stock
Dante Sports - no stock
Western Gun Parts - no stock

Hey thanks for the info. I have two of the old 60's era 48al's. One is for parts to keep my baby runnin. Wouldnt mind finding a nice uncracked stock and another barrel though. So light and reliable.

Google Numrich Gun parts and then using the listings they provide by alphabetic letter click on "F" and you should see your model listed. Click on it and a schematic with part numbers will come up. Simple stuff.

Yup, very straight forward, but many parts for the Franchi 48AL 12 gauge are sold out. I gave them a call and the only source they have for sold out items is from donor guns.
