Hi guys.

I have a Franchi as the tile says. It has a 30 in. barrel with a fixed full choke. It is an older model, so it only shoots lead. I would like to know if i could get another barrel for it. I would like to get something shorter and with an adjustable choke. Also would like to be able to shoot steel. It is and amazing gun but as you can see has some limitations as an all round hunter gun. Any help would be great.

I have the same gun in 3" magnum the barrel was modified to take screw in chokes it uses carlsons tru choke tubes. you cannot shoot steel with a full choke or the barrel will bulge.My gun was made in 1967 and as much as I would like to shoot steel through it they say you should avoid it in the older guns talk to a gunsmith
