I'm gettting a Franchi 12g Ducks unlimited edition Semiauto (sorry didn't catch the model # but it chambers 2 3/4 and 3"). Was at work when I was looking at it and got called out. It's a couple of years old and in good shape. It comes with three chokes. The seller is a avid duck hunter/guide and has shot lead, bismouth, tungsten and steel out of it.

My question is; what kind of chokes will fit a Franchi? (I don't mean F,M,IC,C) I want to get a extended rifled choke for sabot slugs, but I don't see any rifled chokes in the Franchi/Benelli/Stoger sites.

Are choke threads standard or are they different by manufacturer?

Franchi Ckokes

Truelock has chokes for them. Canadial Distributor Londeo Sports 1-877- 349-2332 or any dealer should be able to order Franchi chokes from Stoger Canada.
Cheers, John (Grouser)

Check out Beretta "Mobil" chokes, as they fit many of the newer Franchi models like the Alcione, Veloce, I-12 Predator and Raptor.

As to an extended, rifled choke tube for sabot slugs, I think you will find Beretta Part "JCMEHRF" to be as required, IF the Mobil Chokes do indeed fit that particulat Franchi. The rifled/extended choke tubes are somewhat expensive ... usually retail for around $ 100. Available from Stoeger Canada, or any authorized Beretta dealer .

Thanks Beretta Boy.

I figured a rifled choke would be cheaper then buying a barrel for my mossberg 500 (it has a old 18.5" smooth slugger barrel with no threads for chokes).
