I have been debating a new semi 12 ga. 3". Checked out the Beretta's ( didn't like the stock) The benelli's (didn't like the price) The browning Silver didn't seem too bad just that the internals seemed overly complicated. I haven't checked out the Browing Gold yet(same internals as the Silver?). What I did see that I liked was the Franchi I-12. It seemed nicely finished and fit me well. Does anyone have one of these? How bout some constructive feedback. Thx.

Here's a bit of a review on the Franchi from The Shotgun Report. The "Technoid" is Bruck Buck, one of the better shotgun reviewers in the U.S.

Thanks CB that helps a bit. He seems to favour the Beretta. I personally don't like the way it fits. Surely there's someone on here that has some experience with the Franchi.

FWIW, the stock on the Beretta can be adjusted somewhat for fit with their shim system and the different recoil pads. Also the 391 does come in a couple of different stock variations. The field models are slightly different than the target models and the target model also comes with a parallel comb version.

It's more how it's shaped at the palm that bothers me I tried a couple of different models and they felt the same.
