Ive seen a few of these around local dealers. I like the case colored recievers but my mossbergs have fanicer grade wood. Any reviews from actual users? Internet seems to conclude theyre over weight and over priced.
Be for a hunting gun and occassionl skeet. Not high volume shooting. Are they better than most turkish guns quality wise?

The Instincts are well made guns. Not Browning/Beretta good, but better than most of the Turkish doubles. They are light, but the L is heavier than the SL if you want something heavier. The guns don't have much drop on the stock. They will fit more similarly to a Beretta than a Browning. Recoil on the SL’s is significant. Also, the CCH is chemically done. I have seen a couple that seemed to have worn off fairly quickly from carrying...although those may have been odd luck

Overall they are nice guns, but they are best used for hunting rather than volume shooting. Quality of walnut is hit and miss. You could get lucky and find a gun with real nice wood, but most have very basic walnut.

Bought one in 20 gauge a few years ago. I use it for hunting, not high volume shooting. It fits me well and I have been very happy with it.

I have a Renaissance which was the immediate precursor of the SL and its my go to upland gun. It weighs in at 6lbs in 12 gauge so you know when you've pulled the trigger. As mentioned it seems to fit like a Beretta as my buddy and I have compared my Franchi to his Beretta. They are not the same quality as a Beretta or Browning but for hunting they are a good gun.

They are made by Bettinsoli for Franchi and are the same gun as the X-Trail. A decent poor mans Beretta with better quality than the Turkish guns. They are good value for the money.
