Hey All!

I'm looking at getting an over and under, but can't get myself into spending $2000.00 +. So I was looking at the Franchi Instinct L. Picked it up and pointed it, she felt good.....At a price of $1075, I was pretty much sold, but was wondering if I was better off getting a used Citori for around $1500 and where to look in Canada? Is there a classified section here? As I tried going into the trading area and was denied???
The main use of this gun will be at the skeet club and may make it into the field, as I love using my 870 for hunting...
All you input and advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I had an instinct L it didn't stand up to high volume shooting the forearm came loose with about 250 shells through the gun .the barrel lug that the forearm attaches to is soft and it streched.I would reccommend buying a better quality gun such as a browning or beretta .to gain access to the equipment exchange here go forum actions in the blue panel at the top of the page.click on edit profile then click permission groups and apply to a moderator to gain access to the EE.

I have a Franchi Renaissance that I've put 1000 + shells through this year and it is still a little stiff, in fact it has not changed since it was new. Though not the same as the Instinct L ( the Renaissance has an aluminum alloy frame) it shares a similar design and seems well built for an entry level O/U.

Yes Hunter,I have no idea how many rounds Ive put through my Franchi Renaissance, and its still stiff too. Ejectors dont always work,an unchambered round gouged the bolt face, but its as light a 12 ga twin barrel as you'll find and always goes bang. Id estimate somewhere north of 3000 rds through mine.
