Hello everyone. I have a Franchi 12ga falconet o/u that I purchased many years ago from a gentleman from out West and cannot find any info on it. The receiver is all black and on the side it says falconet IL? that fancy scroll lettering makes the it hard to tell whether it is IL or fl or jl. The gun has 28" barrels and some seperation between the two. It has beautiful select walnut stock, with fine checkering and low satin finish. There is a gold woodcock inlay under the receiver and the trigger is gold with single selective trigger. I bought it used back in 94 and was told it was a presentation grade. I have never come across any that looks like it nor have I found any info. All replies welcome, thanks

Could be "field Light"?
In any case, by the blooks of the pics it is obviouslly in need of a WHOLE BUNCH OF WORK!!
Send that POS to me, I'll even lighten your load by letting you send it C.O.D.
I may be able to use it for parts or a pry bar.....:D :D :D

P.S. I LOVE your flooring with the traditional plugs!

Falconet

That is an odd one. I've tried matching it with the Falconet Field, 2000, 2000 sporting, Trap, International Trap, Skeet, International Skeet, and Super without much luck. There is a Diamond grade, similar to the Super with a steel receiver, but I don't have much information on it. Could you describe the front sight? Is the receiver alloy or steel? It reminds me of an Aristocrat with the lettering on the receiver. Its similar to a Black Magic Sporting Hunter. Does it have choke tubes and a 3" chamber?

The receiver is alloy and the front sight is a white/ivory color bead. The gun is superlight. I believe it is chambered for 2 3/4 only and it has fixed choked tubes. I can`t find any info on it as none of the regular Falconet guns had any gold inlay or select stocks. I was thinking black magic hunter also but they were imported later I believe with screw in choke tubes.
