Franchi Parts question - same as SBE2/M2?

Hey guys,

Looking to upgrade some components on my affinity. I've purchased an M2 charging handle, now am looking to improve my safety by picking up an oversize unit I can use with gloves. Does anyone know if the s&j m2/sbe units will work? I've heard they share a trigger group. Are there other aftermarket goodies from the Benelli that fit as well?

Hello, Just read an article where Randy Wakeman is doing a review of the Franchi Affinity and says that the layout of it is identical to the Benelli M2.

I also found this great video that does a side by side comparison of the M2 and the Affinity. Looks like both models are pretty much identical and can use aftermarket parts interchangeably (with a few exceptions).

I've ordered some M2 GG&G parts from wolverine for the Franchi. I'll post up my results if anyone is interested.

I am very interested this is my new waterfowl gun and a nicer bolt handle would be a plus.

So far, everything for the m2 has fit perfectly on my Franchi (including the bolt handle and oversized safety).

Update: Casey at Tacord can bring in all the nordic component stuff specific to the Franchi if you've worried about the compatibility.
