Frankford Arsenal 7.62 - anybody shot these?

Thought it was a good deal so picked up the can for $200.00. It's 173 grain bullet at 2550 FPS on the box.

Anybody used these ?

Yep, 460 rounds.

Bought it from a American gentleman that resides in N.S. in the summer and gone to Florida for the winter and didn't want to leave it sitting in the house. He had it for several years apparently and decided time to move it out.

That looks an awful lot like the 30-06 I have stashed downstairs sure it's 308?

Yes - I'm sure it's .308.

I did some checking online prior to buying this and did come accross some 30.06 in the same type box so you may very well have some.

I've used it and I find it very good ammunition and quite accurate- not as accurate as Norma but accurate non the less. It is also good long range ammunition ie past 800 yds
