Frankford Arsenal Co-Axial Reloading Press on sale at Cabelas

Not sure how common it is, but, have seen a number of posts with Summits with cracked castings over the last couple of years. I bought a MEC this last Xmas, really like it, haven't seen anyone saying anything about troubles with it yet. MEC has a wee bit of experience building presses, they did good with this one, it runs smooth, really nice to use, and I have a Co-Ax and a Rockchucker to compare it to.

That was the next one on my list. The Mec does look pretty solid. I mostly do 6.5 PRC and will be running some 338 RCM through as well. So shorter actions are my current go too.

So I ordered one but I can tell you it’s going back. I’ll just stick with my Lee classic cast single stage for now. Rather disappointing tbh.

Screws won’t go in flush and the paint or cast around one of the rams has what I can only thing of will damage it over time as a wear part! It just didn’t seem to have the quality I expected! Although after all the reviews I wasn’t expecting much!

It looks like the hunt continues for me!

So just because I could I attempted to resize a case on the M-Press and was rather disappointed. No matter how I set it up it would not bump my shoulder back. I tried two dies and multiple cases. Then installed one into my Lee Breechlock press and it managed to bump it back without issue....

Already messaged about my return to Cabelas -_-
