I am just starting to reload and looking for an auto powder dispenser. Looking for used items primarily just to keep the initial cost down and upgrade as I get more into it. There is one for sale (Frankford Arsenal) however the reviews I find are either really good, or really bad so was wondering if there were some thoughts here on them? I have heard they are a good company but the reviews on the powder dispenser are not as consistent.

The other part that is strange is the warranty being nontransferable (which is such a bad warranty). Unit was purchased in December so it should have warranty left but with it being non transferable it is not. This always makes me question companies quality as who cares if the orginal owner sells the unit.

Anyway I wondering if I should take a flyer on this unit or wait for something else to come up. Thanks in advance.

I have one that I bought new two years ago and I haven't had a minutes trouble with it. It drops consistantly accurate charges that I check from time to time with another scale. It isn't that fast but it throws a charge in the time it takes to get the shell and bullet ready. Powder can get under the two buttons on the front and cause them to stick but they can be cleaned out. The biggest complaint I have is that it is time consuming to clean out to change powder types. It usually results in some spilled powder. I can't comment on their warranty because I've never used it, which, I suppose, is a good thing. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Unless you are looking to do high volume reloading, I would suggest a manual scale to start out. I'm a couple years into reloading and still manually weigh each of my loads. That being said, I do most of my reloading in the crappy winter time of year, so I appreciate the extra time it takes as a way to burn away the cold months. I just put on a podcast or music and get to it

Thanks all. After Amazon invading my privacy and advertising a RCBS Lite for 354 dollars with next day shipping I decided to go that route. For 100 more and having warranty I figured it was worth it.

I have one and love it when it works as it is supposed to. The first one I purchased died on the second day of use and was replaced under warranty by my local gun store. The replacement is very accurate but has a mind of it's own, drifting, starting when turned off, memory loss. The key pad seems to be temp. sensitive hence the starting on it's own. I think most of the units on the market today regardless of the man. still have issues.

Yesterday it was reported three Amazon trucks in Edmonton and were to head points north and west were stolen.
The three drivers quit and these trucks were stolen from where they were parked.
