Has anybody in Canada had any luck with Frankford Arsenal's warranty dpeartment. My first 2 Intellidropper powder dispensers crapped out. Contacted Frankford Arsenal, they said they don't have an ITAR permit for Canada. So sorry, can't do nothing for you. Return to where you bought it. How did it get into Canada if you are restricted by ITAR? Get the feeling, I am just getting hosed.

Distribution, thats how. Frankford Arsenal may not have the required permits but clearly whoever is bringing them into the country does. I have no idea who the distributor for FA is in Canada but google can probably answer that for you.

Frankford was very slow to reply when my primer pocket swager broke a spring, like two months slow. Eventually they did come good and instead of a new spring sent me a new primer pocket swager.
Note that I was going to abbreviate primer pocket swager to p.p.swager but that didn’t feel right.

It’s been awhile, but had an issue with bluetooth not working on a intellidropper. Emailed FA support and they mailed me a new one. Took a while for them to respond but all was sorted out eventually. Must have changed their policy since then.

On the first unit, the display screen started to disapear. It marched across the screen, like the old arcade game "space invaders". Also certain numbers on the keyboard wouldn't work. The second one is completely dead. The reference to the ITAR permit is probably them just weaselling out. Went thru the same thing with Minox scopes, 3 years and 3 scopes later, they refunded my money. Went thru their optics warranty department, she didn't even know what a scope reticle was.

Sorry for your problems, my intelidropper has been flawless ( other than the uselessness of anything the App has to offer) for going on 3 yrs now, long past any warranty opportunities and my supplier was Amazon.

Maybe I am misinformed but it was my understanding that while reloading components are affected by ITAR reloading equipment is not.

I lost one of the aluminum fittings in my FA case prep centre a couple of months ago.

Just received a new complete pack of aluminum bushings, plastic bushings and a new case cutter, free under warranty.

I once bought a small rectangular FA weigh scale, made in China, cost over $70. It crapped out after a few weeks. Looking on line found the same, identical in every way except not having Frankford Arsenal logo on front plastic cover, but blank instead, cost $16.

i had similar experience. They said that he would email me a warranty form, but never did.... I like my frankford arsenal products.. and am looking forward to getting the new intellidropper.

At least it sounds like yours worked, I got a whopping 3 rounds loaded before the touch screen stopped working and even using the app it would drop around 15gr then blink and stop.

Hand operated / small volume reloading equipment does not come under ITAR regulations. So yeah, they are hosing you.
