One snowshoehare
750 ml chicken stock
Equal portion cold water
Olive oil
Garlic three cloves
One yellow onion or red onion your pick
Three carrots
Sea salt, black pepper, oregano
Frank's Hot Sauce Chili & Lime flavour
Need a saucepan and four quart slowcooker
First in your saucepan fry up diced garlic onion and sliced thin carrots until brown.
Place rabbit in six or seven cut up pieces in the slow cooker adding chicken stock and water.
Add your garlic onion carrots ensuring to get as much residue olive oil as possible.
Spice with salt pepper and oregano.
High heat six hours.
Once it's off let this recipe cool.
Remove all the meat from the bones. Douse it in Frank's Hot Sauce. Then reheat.
Not too bad because I believe deboning it tends to eliminate strong rabbit odor some find to be a turnoff.
Myself I have this with Ritz crackers and favorite black coffee. Makes out one to three adult size servings dependant upon your appetite and size of the hare.
Enjoy.
