Hi Guy's,

Just moving out to BC - Fraser Valley area - and am looking into joining a local shooting club. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm pretty much just a 'casual' shooter looking for some quiet time at the range. I like to shoot out to 200 yards, and don't have my restricted license yet, so not really in need of anything pistol at this time.

So far I'm leaning towards the Mission club, but I've heard there is one in Poco, Langley, and Chilliwack. I'm pretty much located in Langley so I don't want to drive too far if I can help it.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

Looking for 200 yards? Mission has a 300 yard range. Ridgedale (closed to new members I've heard) rifle range goes out to about 180 yards. Abbotsford has 100. I forget what they have at POCO.

Chilliwack has 200 as well I believe. And if I remember correctly the underground rifle in Langley is gone.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm going to look into joining the Mission club - not too far to go from here.

Thanks again,
Tim

Chilliwack Fish and Game has a 200 yrd rifle/pistol. 3 position skeet range, Black Powder trail and a 25yrd indoor range for .22 centre fire rifles and pistol of almost any caliber. The members are all incredibly friendly! Sometimes I go to shoot and spend more time talking with everyone on the range. Year membership is $99 plus first time $35 introduction fee and $10 security fob fee that let's you onto the premises and range.

I live in Vancouver and drive out to Chilliwack club because its less crowded and when there are people around they are all very friendly. Lovely place to shoot.
