Freds Fiberglass M14 stocks

freds has had mixed reviews according to this board- btw fred is the dog- some guys have had good service, some poor, and some have seen their money mysteriously vanish with no explaination- and no order- the last ones from numrich have also had their complaints- so maybe they're getting to the bottom of the pile- if you've got the bucks for it, take a look at the ones by damage- it's the sticky at the top of this board- the works already done and how much do you want to invest and what's your time worth?

Fred sits on a giant pile of stocks that he has sorted into similar categories. I have had indifferent service on one occasion and tardy service on another. I expected better than that, but the stocks that did arrive made up for any hard feelings.
The ordinary standard USGI fibreglass is probably just fine. Forget about the superior quality grades; it's for a rifle and meant to be shot. The lowest grades will probably have too many scratches, nicks and other imperfections to make you feel like you got good value for money.
I ordered a pair of birch stocks, a 'glass one, a set of stock metal, and some odd Garand spareparts - because he had them and they ain't makin' any more. Parcel post surface mail, with no miserable courier or arbitrary jacked up customs fees.
