Heheh now that I have your attention here are the details:

I am looking for someone with a 12.6 license to help me. I need them to put a gun under their name temporarily until it gets re barreled and classified as restricted. It would involve putting the gun in their name .... and after receiving it sending it to a gun smith (dlask) for re barreling and reclassification. I would obviously pay for any shipping and packing cost. I know this is a lot of hassle for someone so for your kind help you will get my eternal gratitude and just as a "thank you" a $30 gift certificate from the beer store or whatever store you choose. :) Also you get to shoot a cool gun, an HK P9s for about a month or so as the transfers here in Ontario take that long! I am looking for someone outside of ontario or quebec, someone in a province where the transfers take a few days and not weeks. Also someone with a few trader ratings just to be on the safe side! Anyways if anyone is kind enough to help I will really appreciate it and if there is anything I can ever do for that person or the gunnutz community to show my appreciation, I will.

Or you could get Dlask to take it into their inventory directly for the purpose of getting the work done. Then they transfer it to you after it's restricted.

Have you called them about this option?

Prohibited guns cannot be held as "inventory" by dealers. They must be "consigned" by the license holder.

Well, why don't you get the owner to ship the gun to Dlask for the work, then when it's re-registered, do the transfer and ship it from Dlask directly to you?

The owner is being a bit difficult ... maybe we have a language barrier as he is in quebec. I explained to him just that procedure but he said no. I am not sure if he got what I meant or if he just doesn't want any hassle beyond the usual transfer.

That's too bad. Otherwise it's a pain in the ass for you.

I'm not going to volunteer, you might not ever see the pistol again. ;)

Now you just have to TRUST that this guy is not planning a move to MEXICO in the next month and just picked up $500+ for moving beer money!!!:dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:
