I just picked up two Hornady Die sets today and they have a deal for a mail in 100 bullets free with each set.

Got them at the big bass pro just north of Calgary

http://www. hornady.com/media/get-loaded-stay-loaded.pdf

Limited Bullet selection but better than nothing

costs 6.75$ each for shipping but good deal though

Even though I bought these here, is there an issue actually getting them?

From the Site:
Offer valid in U.S. and Canada only. Shipping and handling must accompany redemption form.

I'll be sending in the paperwork for a couple 30 cal boxes then . they must either have a Cdn shipping source or an allowance for cross border transport

cool they have two choices for .30cal 150 sbt and 150 FMJBT

one of the other reasons I like to stick with .30cal rifles (.308 30-06, etc) lol

Though I do love my 35 Whelen.

Why do people break links to manufacturers? Not necessary...Only non-supporting dealers...

I got this from crazy_davey (mod) when I posted a link to a US seller of super glue accelerator.

Please remember that there are no hotlinks to non supporting dealers allowed on CGN, firearms related or not.

Thanks
Dave

I just purchased my LNL AP, when I called Hornady they told me that they had set up an agreement with a firm in Alberta, and that they would honor the free bullet deal in Canada, no extra costs. Looks like I get 1000 bullets sent to me for essentially $21USD. This makes this press an outstanding deal!

I am now even more impressed with Hornady.

My check and form are in the mail. Lookin forward to getting 10 boxes of 45ACP 185 gr JSWC,,whenever. Honestly, the bullets are just icing. The AP press and case feeder have me grinning ear to ear. Mind you, I'm not about to turn down a couple a hundred bucks worth of icing :D.

Yeah, I got about 300 CAD worth of 30 cal 150gr FMJ's... that I would have bought anyways. I gotta figure my basic press cost me about 200 bucks.

No dies, no shellplate. It's about 400 USD and 500 CAD if you can find one. Caliber conversions are very cheap... just a set of dies, and a 40ish dollar shellplate. Can buy die bushings for a few dollars a piece, and also extra powder dispenser plugs to preset charges for different loads. Even if you just have the bushings caliber conversion takes a few minutes, maybe 10 at the most if you had to change the primer feed from small to large vice versa, and set up the powder charge.

I would say your app got lost, have you tried calling or emailing them?

That or some of their requirements may have been missed. They state quite clearly that if any of the required documentation is missing or incomplete, they won't process the rebate and won't give you notice. Better to call em.

This sounds a tad hard ass on their part but I'd imagine if they didn't do it this way they'd be dealing with an endless array of paper scraps claiming free bullets from them.
