Just wondering if anyone has free floated there rimfire 917 Marlin, I am just starting to fool with mine and noticed a lot contact and may be leading to a good amount of preasure on the barrel from the stock. The pillar system is a slide in piece that is not fixed so i dont know if free floating would do much or not??
