Free Marlin

A friend of mine just gave me a Marlin 444 built in '77. It has the Micro-groove barrel. It looks like its been neglected for a while, but should clean up nice. Can anyone tell me where to get parts like peep sights (XS or Skinner), spring kit for the trigger and hammer and a larger loop lever (not huge like the Mares leg). Is there any other parts that should be changed out? Can the tube be extended like the one on the guide gun? If I decide to sell as is what are the worth? Any advice and help would be much appreciated.

Why swap out all those parts? A plain old Williams FP receiver sight would be the perfect addition all by itself. Otherwise, just sell it and buy what you want.

For the springs I would try western gun parts .
