Is anyone running Freedom Venture's $15 .45ACP mags in their 1911?
Are they reliable?
How is the build quality?
Are they 7 or 8 round capacity mags?
Who makes them?
How do they compare the Marstar's GI mags?

They are stamped ACT or so and look like they were made by MegGar. I got 6 of them and not a single issue. Good fit and finish and worksmanship.

They're 8 round and plastic based.

45 to 9mm

can you replace the spring or follower and run 9mm out of a 45 mag body.
