Friction adjustments & Turrets

I got a Leupold M8 6x42mm with the Vari-X II (VX I) style friction adjustments

I am going to put a Stoney Point elevation turret on it

Can I expect the friction adjustments to track well with the turret?

tried the turrets out today on my 223

got zero'd @ 100 meters and fired a 5 shot group

clicked up 15 moa and then back down 15 moa and fired a 4 shot group

then I did 15 moa up and 15 moa down and fired another 5 shot group

both groups after the adjustments were basically right on my point of aim zero. I was shooting prone w/ bipod, so a few flyers could of been me

cant wait to strech the legs with my 223 and these turrets

well, I used the numbers from JBM ballistics & my laser RF to bust some water jugs with my 223, from 330y to 440 yards.

When I could dope the high winds, I hit the jugs!

nice shooting, if you dont mind me asking how much did the new elevation turret cost?

turret was about $50 each ($80/2) plus tax/shipping
