Most accurate rimfire I've ever shot....but there was a rust sppot on the spring. The spring is now toast. Can anyone PLEASE give me some direction?

Still got the original?

Make the measurements, ie: wire diameter; number of coils; coil spacing; free length, and roll yer own. Test and adjust as necessary. Make sure you use spring wire, and not TIG welding rod or something like that (been there, tried that, failed miserably...) :)
If necessary you can unwrap a different diameter spring of the same wire size and approx length (or better: longer) for a wire source.
It can be a real PITA, but if original replacements are just not available, it's a worthwhile option.

I needed the trigger spring for my Rem 700. They were the only ones that had it. anyway just another place for parts.
 
As ldhill says, gunpartscorp, formerly known as Numrich's, has almost everything needed. Key word there was almost. Shipping to Canada is not an issue. I have used them many times.
