Bought a new 700 BDL stainless synthetic 270 Winchester. It hang on the wall for over a year. Finally got around to taking it to the range. Fired it, and it shot well. Extracted the brass, and it looked like a corkscrew. Took a bore light to it, and the chamber was spiraled. Contacted Remington immediately. They said " you purchased that over a year ago, there is no warranty." Next gunshow, it was history. I will never let Remington in my house again.
