Hi Guys,

I'm new to working with soft lead bullets. I ordered a bunch along with some frog lube. The frog lube came as a solid bar. I assume I melt it an dip the bullets in. I'm just wondering if I dip the entire bullet or only the base.

Frog Lube is a firearm cleaner and lubricant not bullet lube. Totally different use unless they came out with bullet lube that I've never heard of.

I ordered the lube at the same time I ordered the bullets. The invoice shows it as "Frog Lube". There's every chance that somebody called it the wrong thing. What came in the box is a solid bar of wax-type substance. I'm open to advice about how to apply it to the bullets. Should I melt it down and coat the entire bullet, should I just rub the solid bar on the bullet......

Someone screwed up the inventory description or didn't know what else to put it under. So. The lube you have is likely for a Lubrisizer, but that's okay. What you can do is put the projectiles based down in a small foil lined tray, and melt the lube into the tray ensuring that the lube grooves on the projectiles are covered. Allow to cool to room temperature then pick the projectiles out of the tray with a pair of tongs. Voila! Lubed projectiles!
